The cowboys of Faith Cattle Company risk their safety while separating a rogue bull from their herd before it breeds with their cattle. Newlyweds and expectant parents, Bubba and Kaley, get their home and lives ready for their baby girl. Retired calf-roper, Cody, must put on a successful rodeo or risk losing a vital source of income for his young family. Booger, the expert horse trainer, gets a call from a distressed neighbor about an unruly mare. Booger agrees to help tame the horse, but if he can’t do it, the horse will be put down.

The boys are back and headed to Mississippi for their biggest cattle drive yet. With a tight deadline and many obstacles, they need a great game plan to ensure the drive’s success. Back in Alabama, Cody and Misty debate whether Misty should quit her job to stay at home. Bubba and Kaley trade chores, and Bubba finds out what it’s like to be Mr. Mom. Booger, Jaclyn, and Jaclyn’s son, Matthew, spend the day together. Booger taps into his paternal instincts and contemplates taking his relationship with Jaclyn to the next level.

Booger and Cody team up to pen a herd of cattle, but a stubborn cow takes refuge in a fishing hole, requiring some creative wrangling. The stress of maintaining a long-distance relationship leads Bubba and Kaley to move back to Alabama for good. Booger embraces his new role as a family man and enlists young Matthew to help surprise Jaclyn with a much needed home-improvement project. Cody helps Misty throw a beef-tasting party for potential buyers. As the guys ponder using their cowboy skills to open a steak house, they decide to get some on-the-job training by working a shift during the hectic dinner rush at a local eatery.

Cody and Booger decide to enter a chuck wagon race but fail to convince Bubba to join their team. They must scramble to find a replacement or risk disqualification. The wives agree to handle the ranching duties while the guys are at the race, but they encounter a problem with a new cow after an unexpected shipment arrives. When Jaclyn learns how dangerous a chuck wagon race can be, she insists on a last-minute road trip to attend the event in case the cowboys get hurt.

Bubba, Cody, and Booger head back to Texas to help a group of Texas cowboys with a cattle drive. Drought conditions stretch the one-day job into two after they detour to find water for the cattle. Their hard work pays off when the ranch owner takes notice and offers them a deal on some cattle. Meanwhile, back in Alabama, Misty continues to train her mare for Cody’s rodeo, while Jaclyn and Matthew tend to Booger’s Brahmans while he is away. No matter how hard Andrew tries to be a good houseguest, he continues to frustrate Kaley with his bad habits.

The cowboys head to Texas for a job using helicopters to herd cattle, inspiring Cody to attempt infusing drone technology into their cattle operation. Bubba and Booger are skeptical, and it puts pressure on the guys to come up with an idea everyone can get behind to expand the business. After a visit to Matthew’s school to educate the class about the cowboy way of life, Booger is invited to compete at a world-renowned colt-starting competition. The guys are happy for their friend but also worried that Booger’s absence could be detrimental to their partnership.

After going their separate ways to focus on individual pursuits, the cowboys come back together to help a friend rope some wild hogs. Realizing they still make a good team, they decide to partner up again to take their operation to a new level. Grandma reminds Booger of his family’s deep roots in the Florida cattle business, and Booger is inspired to look south for work in areas that aren’t affected by the drought. Bubba and Kaley host the gang for a cowboy-inspired gender reveal party. Cody surprises Misty with the plans to move forward on building their dream home.
